Ultimate Pet Care Somerset West started up in November 2020. We were very curious to see what they had to offer, and I must say our dogs were spoiled rotten.
Normally I will groom the dogs myself, but winter is definitely a challenge. Ultimate Pet Care Somerset West came to visit us on a Friday afternoon after yet another cold front. The trailer could not fit in our car park, so parked outside, but don’t worry, they have secure gates so should your fur child slip out of the bath there is no way that he can get out of the trailer. All that Ultimate Pet Care requires from the owner is access to a tap and electricity. They have a small gas geyser inside the trailer which guarantees a hot bath.
Bella was the first pup to be bathed. She was not sure what this trailer was and gave the groomers a very hard time, nevertheless, she could not escape the trailer until she was bathed, dried, and her nails were clipped. Morgan loved the attention as always, not very phased about being in a trailer, Stormy was our problem child as always. Being a nervous dog it was amazing to watch how they worked with her, calming her down and working very softly to keep those stress levels down.
So why do we prefer Ultimate Pet Care Somerset West to grooming parlors?
- The convenience of doing it at our house, as soon as 1 of the dogs were done, they were put back in the house/yard
- You could clearly see that the groomers loved animals
- The special touch at the end, all dogs got a beautiful bandanna and perfume, not to mention the odd treat now and again during the grooming.
Not in Somerset West? not to worry as there are trailers in the following areas in the Western Cape
