We have so often overlooked the Orchard Farmstall as it is so close to home. We will most certainly not make this mistake again.
It is not very often where the waiter’s first concern is to make sure the Dogs have water before even taking our Drinks order. The wow factor did not stop there, although it was boiling hot, there is ample shade (more than enough for the table and for the dogs). I do not even know what to say about the food except for WOW, Michael ordered a juicy beef burger and chips and I had a Chicken Snitzel that was so moist, I struggled to finish it but due to the amazing taste I did not want to stop eating, both meals come highly recommended.
The Orchards Farmstall, unfortunately, doesn’t have a specific doggy menu but don’t let that stop you. With ample space for them to lie down, a kiddies play area to explore if empty what more can you ask for?
The farmstall itself has some great items if you need to get something for the road or you’re on your way home and don’t have time to sit down and eat, the bakes looked mouth-watering.
We noticed that they do a Sunday blackboard lunch, according to the manager on duty it is advisable to book as they could get very busy. On the way out 1 of the staff members told us that the car wash on a Saturday has a deal with the Restaurant where you can get a coffee while you wait for your car.
Just down the road from the Orchard Farmstall are the Trails End Bike Hotel where you can buy your permit to go for a walk. This walk is pet friendly, so our suggestion is, go for a lovely walk and stop by the Orchards Farmstall for a late breakfast or lunch.
