Dogs, Beers and Sport at Kapstadt Brauhaus

With World Cup Fever, what better way to support the Bokke than with a beer and your best friend at Kapstadt Brauhaus Durbanville.  They have indoor and Outdoor seating and big-Screen’s all around so you don’t have to worry about getting a good seat for the game, but do make a booking because nothing worse than not getting a seat at all.

We visited Kapstadt Braughous Durbanville after a long morning of Agility Training with the boys, Cobalt and Captain Morgan.  Needless to say, the dogs were not the only ones exhausted and ready for a cool drink and a nice meal.

We managed to find parking close by and made our way to the large under-cover patio section of the restaurant known as “The Garden”, the area was designed to resemble a garden in the middle of town, with lots of plants and the entire floor area was covered in artificial lawn and lots of umbrellas.

We were lucky enough to get a lovely sunny day in the middle of winter.  The two dogs immediately found a comfy spot under the table and curled up for a well-deserved nap after having some ice-cold water.

There was a great selection of draughts on tap. We ended up ordering CBC Raspberry Krystal Weiss for myself and a CBC Lite Larger (low cal) for the dedicated driver.  While we were sitting at our table we watched all the meals passing by making it difficult to make up our minds on what to order for lunch.  In the end, we went for the old trustworthy burger which was a Beef patty served with everything ( feta, avo, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, spicy mayo, and onion rings). Needless to say, we had an amazing day out and almost joined the dogs for a nap under the table

Finding a place in the city that not only allows dogs but welcomes them with a smile is not easy.  We were treated to good food and great friendly service.  KapstadtBrauhaus Durbanville will definitely see us again to try a few more of the meals and great beers.

I must mention it seemed like every guest that was there was a dog lover and our table was often the center of attention with our dogs loving all the attention.
